You took the words right out of my mouth!!!

I try to keep a small trash can close by and I aim at it but there are lots of misses!

I have a pin cushion with a thread catcher and I have a pad under my machine with a catcher. I find they work very well.

What works great is an empty large plastic coffee can ...save the lid and you can put it on at the end of the day to prevent a pet getting in or it being knocked over

I use a thread catcher. When full, I put out for the birds.

I try to hit the waste can, but frequently miss. It really drives my wife crazy.

It's gravity....you can't beat it! I've also learned not to wear black when sewing.

I try to keep my contained as much as possible. I collect them until the spring and then toss them into the back yard. I birds will come take them threads to add to their nests. It's such a joy to see my threads resting under a bunch of baby birds....

I have a trash can on both sides of my sewing center. I aim for one or the other, but often hit the floor! My quilt dog sometimes gathers them for me by dragging his sleeping bag across the floor.
