I have used two threads through one needle in some of my regular sewing such as denim. It gives the seam extra strength. No problem going through the machine but a larger needle is needed.

That is just like the part I had to have for my lawn tractor $2.64 + $4.65 shipping and nobody had the part locally had to order from manufacturer.

I hate it when that happens! I ordered a package of the needles from amazon for $6.77 with free shipping... but will probably be next week before I can play around with them... by the time I get home tuesday I'm going to be going through massive withdrawls! No computer and NO sewing machine!
