I'm afraid there could be no reality quilt show, because quilters tend to be too nice, they bond, and help each other with their projects. If they had to vote among themselves to send someone home, it wouldn't happen. All projects would end up being group projects, because they would be open to suggestions from each other. But I'll bet some beautiful projects would be produced that could be turned into quilt books and sell millions! I don't want to be on TV, but I'd like to join a group working together like that sometime.

I would give a small piece of anatomy to go to Mood and work with a group of quilters! I do think that people do get a little snarky under pressure, although there were a couple of seasons of Project Runway where everyone got along great.

That's what I was thinking! I'd hate to see quilters being as mean and critical as some of those competitors turn out to be. Even when quilts are judged at a quilt show, there's so much sniping', ( even on this board) - "oh, so and so so shouldn't have won! So and so did much better!" as. As much as I like to get a ribbon,I HATE that we have to compete with one another to get it!

For us quilters it would be a great show, but for the general public it would be to milktoast. I'm sure if you look hard enough there are quilters who wouldn't help a new quilter, but that might be one season then what? Nope, all the quilters i've met so far are helpful, nice and delighted to help another quilter with their projects and seem to like to share their knowledge.

I'd watch every episode! I'm terrible at imagining designs.

Count me in & who says reality show have to have contestents that are nasty to each other. we could be the first "really reality" show, where people are decent to each other. I would watch it. Maybe it should have a "hot romance" going on during the show . . . . .just kidding,

Nice idea, but I wonder beyond quilters how much appeal it would have on a network show.

I think the only problem that would crop up is that we quilters are so giving, we would all end up in one area putting our quilts together!!!!!
