I was in so many swaps last year that I have about a dozen quilts to make from them. So..............
NO more swaps or starting something new until I get those done!
I'm doing like quiltinghere and working on the almost done first then I'll tackle the loose blocks.
I got my first one completely done yesterday and I moved on to the next today!
I will do it!

Most of my UFO are extremely large and time consuming hand applique projects that I look at now and say what was I thinking. Right now I have 3 quilts that I rotate between working on and I started paper piecing xmas ornaments as gifts. I have 3 quilts waiting on bindings and a doll quilt in progress.
Now those are the ones I see everyday!

I have many UFOs and WIPs :D I like being able to work on them or start new projects... what ever I feel like at the time.
I don't worry about it, I love what I am doing and will continue until I am unable to anymore :D:D:D

Could be worse, you could be one of those strange and dreadfully self-controlled creatures - A SERIAL QUILTER!!!

I have three quilty projects in progress and that is plenty for me, I decided. Nothing new until I finish one (except for shopping and planning)! I just don't have the storage space and I am likely to forget anything stored out of sight, anyway.

I also have a project mountain and start new projects all the time. I have about 20 quilt tops complete & ready to go to the longarm lady, a few wall hangings in progress and a couple table runners waiting for my touch. I understand how you feel! Buried under wonderful quilting gifts. :-D

Don't look at me -- I am an enabler! The more WIP's I have the more options I have. As long as the fabric designers keep coming up with new designs, I will add to my stash and my WIP's (they are like old friends you haven't seen in a while, they make for a good short visit, but not a roommate.) Variety is good and keeps the ole' gray cells functioning.

Watched an old Star Trek Voyager show last night after reading this thread and realised I do indeed need to bring order to chaos. "You will be assimilated. Resistance is futile..." ;)
Once I get my things herded together into the right groups (quilting projects together, close to fabrics and other sewing stuff, writing-related things in a good solid place of their own, and so on), I'll hopefully feel more on top of my game again!
