My beautiful daughter found a gift for me that I enjoy so much: a subscription to Quilting Arts.

Quilt Sampler is my favorite also. Pictures and instructions all together and soooooo many ideas that my imagination just wanders on and on.

I believe Quilt Sampler only comes out twice a year...Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter. It is published by Better Homes & Gardens.

Thank you to all of you who answered.
I got a better idea of what to expect of each magazines.
A dear friend from this forum offered to send me some old issues of her favorite magazines so I can take a look.
I found many of your inputs very interesting and helpful.

Hugs,

After subscribing to too many, I found what I really want is inspiration, not patterns that are too difficult, or duplicates of what I have in books. I narrowed my sub. down to Quilter's Home for the joyous approach and the reviews of new gadgets, and Quilting Arts for pure visual encouragement. I always flip through new mags at the news stands, and occ. buy one if it has something special. The newsletters online are always full of new ideas too and they are free.

Or even better just keep your laptop open on your sewing table and follow the directions on the screen and SAVE another tree!!
Do they offer PDF versions of the patterns? I love to save pdf files on my computer for possible future use. Build your own library of patterns!

after years of having my kids buy me EVERY magazine subscription there is, i'm letting them all run out and only keeping Fons & Porter and Quiltmaker. only because i like the format.
i won't live long enough to read the ones i already have. as for instruction or inspiration, i get all i want and more on the internet.

Where did you find it for $9.96? Was that a renewal rate? (Oh, I guess not. I reread that you hope it's a good one.) It's $19.96 every place I looked.
