I try to never have more than five projects at a time. I make sure one of them is a hand project. I learned this from my DSIL.

Say what ???
I usually have at LEAST 3-4 tops, blocks and small projects in the works. I get bored if I only work on one thing ... of course I'd probably FINISH more in a timely manner that way LOL

I have been jumping around because I,m anxious to see what the next one will look like.
I,m a newbie and I want to try so many blocks out.
Should I be doing this?
I never finish one before starting another :). I don't want it to become monotonous and boring, so starting something new allows me to keep my mind fresh.

 Yes. Then there's the bend and stretch that come with finding stray pins on the floor.

First of all - you don't need to ask anyone's permission whether you should or shouldn't have numerous projects started.

Second - if there is something wrong loving the design process and having a bunch of projects going at once, they better throw me in jail!!

Others may have mentioned these terms, all of which apply to my sewing room:

PIG'S - Projects In Grocery Sacks

UFO'S - Unfinished Objects

WIP'S - Works In Progress

I am the embarrassed owner of several of the above!!

Welcome to the club...
