I couldn't have said it better! You can't please everyone. Just enjoy what you do and when you finish it, the right person will cross your path and you will know it is for them. They will be so thankful and love it just the way you made it.

I agree! Finish it the way you planned, and it will be ready to gift to someone who will appreciate your effort. I gift my quilts, but I quilt for me. Period.

Just finish it. When it's done, someone is going to want it. Trust me! And if they don't, I bet you can find a place where it will look absolutely perfect. Put on some tough love and do it the way you want.

My goodness there seems to be a lot of bad vibes associated with this quilt. I agree. Just do it your way for yourself and forget about them! It sounds like it was turning into a very nice quilt before the drama started.

No more quilts for those turkeys! If you don't want to keep it, finish it and give it to a good charity or a special friend who needs some love.

Sounds like you have some ungrateful family members. I would just make it for myself.

I don't have a way to post a picture right now. I will post a pic as soon as I can. Thanks everyone for the support. I forget that I always put everyone else first and need to be reminded that all bending over backwards for people gets you is a bad back.
