All 3 of my doggy critters have their own blankies....the middle dog, 60# of chow mix,(Kathy)has the prettiest one, its pink 4 patch...the big guy, Bubba (125 pds of black lab) has the biggest one, of course......and the smaller one, 30 pd mutt,(Penny) has a blue one, on our bed, of course...they seem to claim their blankets, and know it is their own personal item. When I pick them up for the washing machine, they really look worried, until they get them back again. I love to watch the way they " think"..you can see the wheels spinning.....

I made my folks cats (2 of them) their own quilts. They love them and refuse to sleep on the bed unless they have the quilts ready for them. My Mom says that the cats go nuts when she has to wash the quilts! I really made the cats their own quilts because they wouldn't leave the quilt I made for my folks alone! I guess that the cats know what life is all about!
