When I bought my machine it didn't come with much of a case. Just a lid that goes over the machine. I ordered a rolling tote from Blue Fig. They specialize in sewine machine totes. They are not cheap, but I love mine.

Check out a Magna Cart. I can load my Bernina 440, my notions bag, cutting mats etc. and strap it all on with bungee cords and go anywhere. I had a bag similar to a Tutto, but turned a sharp corner and dumped the machine. With the Magna Cart it sits behind my seat while driving and I can lift the whole thing out of the car at once.

I bought a tutto (large size or X-large) on wheels to port my Bernina QE440 machine to classes. It steers beautifully, has multiple pockets and connectors with strap in both outside pockets so I can strap extra bags on top.

I love it as well as the machine. I also have a small inexpensive Brother 6000i that I can take to classes where I'm mostly straight stitching or zigzagging.

I have a Tutto. One for each of my machines. They are expensive but I love mine. They have so many places to store your notions, rulers, cutters etc.

I bought a case at Hancocks for a great price. my Bernina 440E fits fine but I learned on my first use that my Bernina needs to stay at home. I will take my Brother which is much lighter or buy something for travel if I start doing that. the quality of the Bernina construction shows when you get my age and can hardly lift it.

I agree with you there, the machine is real heavy, It's all I can do to lift it into the car let alone carry it into the shop. I have been using the case that came with it, but you have to carry it, I need someting that rolls. Everbody here sure have gave me some ideas

I bought the Tutto XL Monster Machine on Wheels for my Janome 11000SE and the 7700. It's excellent for larger machines because it has so much room in it, however I am trying to sell it, since I decided it was easier to take a smaller machine to class.

No takers on Ebay so far though. Oh well.

I have one of the sewing machine cases from Joann's. If I am just going across town, I slip my older Bernina in it without the hard case. I have room to put my foot and other notions in it, too. It is a little heavy, but rolls nicely.

Sometimes I take my FW instead, packed in its case and put it on a luggage cart.
