How to keep DH away from your sewing tools

Reading all the responses reminds me of a story that I read of a woman mechanic in a car shop. Her male co-workers were always taking off with her clean-up rags. She bought some cheap lace & stitched to the edge of all her new rags.
no one took her rags any more...

My sewing room is "off limits"...as are my tools. It only took one incident of me finding DH "helping" me look for something. Probably the ONLY time I have ever raised my voice!!! I am by nature a fairly quiet person, so he KNEW he was in deepest doo doo. Now he stands in the door way and asks before he comes in. :D

In a household of men, I have my own set of girl-sized tools and they have their "guy" tools. Two of mine are small hammers, one of which is painted white with cute little flowers all over it and has screwdrivers hidden in the handle, a gift from my MIL. The boys refuse to touch that one, but the other small plain hammer seems to be fair game and I'm always finding it in their toolbox. Maybe I ought to find some pink paint, too.
