Have bought a little fabric. This past year all 4 kids have received at least 1 table runner. This year I'm trying for extra long potholders for kids & grandkids, as they are showing an interest in cooking. Not out of Christ fabric. I'm hoping to make 3 sewing boxes for 3 of the girls. Ideas are starting to gel and supplies starting to be found, as much from stashes as possible.

Traditional Christmas fabrics just don't rock my world. I have already made a Christmas gift quilt for each of my GD's, just didn't use Christmas themed fabrics. I haven't planned any more quilted gifts other than those 2. I have already given almost everyone in my family a lap quilt. Now I am working on the long list of quilts that I want to do for myself and DH....so unless someone asks for a quilt --- I'm already done with my Christmas sewing!

Just a square of whatever left over batting I could dig up.

Here's a link to the pattern:

I think I can say I did as I plan on making gift quilts from the blocks I'll be getting back in the Batik swap, the Black/White and Bright Swap and the Hot Air Balloon swap. I have my blocks done for all of them so that should count as having worked on Christmas gifts. At least that's my take on all the work I've put into these swap blocks.

My Mom is going to get the snowman swap block quilts. (And snowman placemats and napkins)

Mom always gets a little extra...

I have started deciding what I am going to make for my sisters and mother. Haven't started to sew yet. Still in the idea phase.

bejay those panels are very pretty. I bought 3 charm packs of Moda's Makin Friends to make a lap quilt for my son's family. I picked a pattern that was more winter rather than just Christmas, so they would be able to use it longer in their family room. Just planning a simple patchwork design.
