I cut pieces for my mom when I was young and started making my own quilts in my 20s. That was longer ago than I like to admit, I'm 65 now. I bought a used Tin Lizzie when I retired , about 5 years ago so I quilt my own and once in a while for friends. I guess I've made hundreds of quilts, most all full bed size. I give them to family (Big ) and close friends, some have gone to children's charitys.

I've quilted close to 200 (baby, twin, full, queen and king) and only have three that I have done. I've been quilting for seven years and after quilting a full size on DSM I purchased a longarm. I admire anyone that can quilt on their DSM, but that was too hard for me. The three I have were my practice quilts on my longarm. I have given most of these away. This is an addictive hobby and I love it.

I started quilting seven or eight years ago. Have been sewing forever. Don't really know how many I've made. Most have been given to friends and family. Do have about 20 in various stages of completion still hanging around. Initially I did both piecing and quilting by hand. Then I got impatient and started piecing by machine and more recently also doing the quilting by machine as well. I still have several that I want to finish quilting by hand and when I do the double wedding ring one I'm collecting vintage fabrics for, it will be done completely by hand. My machine is a 1951 year model Featherweight.

I've made hundreds, as well, possibly 6-700 by now...been quilting since 1972 or '73...in the last two years alone I've done about 200....I make a lot of baby quilts, do some LA'ing for American Hero Quilts, make quilts for family and friends and do commission work as well. I got my LA about three years ago, and I love it! Before that, I sent out a few, did a lot on my DSM's, and hand-quilted many a one while working full time. I also do charity work and do some for Quilts for Kids. And in my spare time.......

I have been quilting since the mid 70's. I started out piecing and quilting by hand, about 10 years ago I realized I would never live to make all the quilts I wanted to if I did'nt speed it up, so I bought a rotary cutter, ruler and started piecing by machine. I have no idea how many quilts I have made, too many to count. I do have 6 First Place ribbons for quilts I entered in shows, in all different. My daughters have the quilts now. catagory's

I've been quilting for 16 years. I had just started my first class when my daughter announced she was pregnant. Been quilting ever since. I've probably made 100 quilts with the sizes ranging from wall hangings to queen size quilts. The small ones I have quilted myself. The big ones I've sent out for quilting, but now that I'm retired my goal is to learn to quilt most of them myself.
