How much would you pay for a FQ?

I am not an expert on fabrics, lol, but these were advertised as "early" Kaffe Fassett..so maybe some of them are out of print..not sure.I guess if I was trying to make a quilt with the whole collection and was missing the one FQ..I may be willing to pay more.
And BtW, one sold for $10 and change. Smebody really wanted it and I am glad they got it.

Then again my (not so-L)LQS charges upwards of $15 a yard for cotton and upwards of $18 for batik

Check out what Heather Ross Lightning Bolts and Other Mysteries fabrics and fat quarters go for on Ebay. I've seen $20 or more for fq. I have a reasonable stash of yardarge on some of these HR fabrics. I'm waiting until it looks like there aren't anymore and then I am going to move in for the kill!!!! Maybe make enough to buy my dream sewing machine..... ;)

That's ridiculous! I almost NEVER pay full price for any of my sewing things - fabrics included. Maybe they just didn't read the ad correctly, and thought it was for a bunch of FQ's, instead of just one. I couldn't even imagine it!!

I'm also collecting KF for a Dear Jane quilt. I just paid $3.00 each for a bunch of FQ's and I really had to bite the bullet to do it - I think that's a lot of money but I was at a LQS while on vacation and they had a huge selection, much more than I can get at home and I hate paying postage. The KF fabrics were .25 more than the regular FQ's, I guess because of the KF name. But $6.50 - nope.

Plain crazy!
