That is so great. You really handled this situation well, preserved a friendship, honored your values and ethics, and didn't have to challenge her.

Good endings are the best!

It works for me.
I like this comeback!

Thanks for updating us, Karen. I'm glad it turned out so well :)

Are you my mother in law? I'm not kidding, she did this again and again. Bless her soul. I was very fond of her and miss her a great deal. You learned to take her recipes with a grain of salt.

Good job; and SHE is going to have a new skill. Truly 'all's well that ends well' and it sure sounds like this did!

I could not have imagined a better outcome. Good for you.

shequilts, what a wonderful way to turn a situation to the good. I'm glad you will be passing on the knowledge and that your friend 'got it' that copyright is what it means.

Thanks for the update on the situation. With you sharing the problem and the outcome, we have all had a chance to suggest alternate ways to handle it, shared ideas, and learned a lot of lessons. I am glad you felt good about sharing. We all learn from each other and it helps us to know how to handle a similar situation if we have it happen.

This board sure makes for interesting reading!!
