This was the machine I was going to get...you have made a great choice. I ended up choosing a machine that had a dealer/tech closest to me (about 75 round trip)... I have the TL18LS & love my Lizzie!

Your last reason is the main thing to consider, dealer availablity is 2nd... You will love your new machine!

I purchased the Innova 22in quilting machine. I was at the MQX quilt show in Manchester NH this past weekend and tried out all the machines, spoke to all the reps, bugged the devil out of all of them. Then made a decision.

The things that "won" me over for the Innova
1. the head rotates completely so that you can change feet easily
2. the roller bars have a different system than all the others, it gives the ability to be more fine tuned
3. The motor when hooked up to their lightening stitch regulator is nearly all digital, meaning more control on the regulator and also means the only oiling I need to do is to the bobbin area.

but the most important reason is because it called to me, when I put my hands on the machine it felt like home. I love the machine. Now have to wait 3wks or so for delivery, gonna be difficult!

Congratulations on your new purchase, I'm envious, because even if I have the money I don't have the space to have a long arm. If the machine "called to you" then it's the right machine for you. Congratulations and have fun with your new "toy".

Oh Yipppeee! Carolyn,
I have been contemplating this for almost 19 months now. I have harassed every dealer at every show I get to, and got my favorites down to APQS and Innova, and then met an Innova dealer last Oct at Spokane quilt show and fell head over heels with both the Innova and the dealer.(liking dealer is very important) Timing still wasn't right, nor was space at home, but its starting to fall into sinc now and it might just happen this summer. Going to the Salt Lake City MQX in May, taking a couple of classes, (hoping the machines might be Innovas), but will check in with dealer there too. Your posting was so exciting to read...another Innova lover. I have also joined the Yahoo group and getting lots of pre buying info there.
So have a great time, hope the next 2 weeks go by fast for you so you can get your hands on your own!!!
See you in the Tote Bag Retreat this weekend.
Susan

We have the 18inch and love it.the 22inch was not an option when we were shopping, darn.I love that the machine itself needs no oiling so no oops.We tested them all and it was the smoothest to move, most solid frame, the great roller system, etc. You are gonna love it.
