Love everyone's pictures, thanks so much for taking the time to post them.

The "sylvia" blocks I'm referring to are the Sylvia's Bridal Sampler and there is a group led by Anael in the Block of the Month area ..... you need the book as there are no patterns given but Anael posts 2 blocks per week that we work on and hopefully post pictures to that thread when we're finished. I had a fractured elbow so got way behind.... here is my week 17.... only 2 more weeks of patterns to go before I get caught up... this has been the perfect opportunity!

I got all of the fabric cut for a lap quilt that I am starting in the next couple of days. I bought the background fabric this morning, and cut it while I watched a hockey game. I do not have a picture just yet, but the pattern is by a lady named Pam Bono. It has leaves in two shades of green that almost look like hearts. It will be 60 x 60 when finished.

I finished one top today, and finished long arming one quilt. The top has a bias striped border that I was inspired to make after quilting one for a customer. I'm very happy with the job I did matching the seams in the border, and I'm sure I'll do this again on another quilt.

Next up - load another customer quilt on the long arm, and clean up my disaster of a sewing room.

I thought i was taking an applique project break to work on a quilted Care Bears panel book for my BRAND NEW BORN YESTERDAY GRAND-DAUGHTER #5 --- Well.....it's all ready to assemble....and i can't get the dang thing under the presser foot. Scared i'll break my machine if i try to force it. Looks like i'll have to do that part by hand...somehow.....will let it go til morning when i can look at it anew.
LOVE LOVE seeing and hearing all the projects......I'm really curious to see the aprons Quilty Louise so please post when you can.

Joining a little late in the game, but I want to finish quilting and put the binding on this OBW quilt. I've named it Anemone. It sounds like everyone is having a great time so far this weekend, good luck on all the projects!
