I just used my 60% coupon on a package of rotary cutter blades. Something that is always good to have on hand and they were not on sale in my store. You are right--almost everything else is on sale. Sometimes I pick up Wonder-Under or Stabilizer because I do a lot of applique. Good Luck

I tossed mine, since it was only 40%. Whoop-tee-doo, LOL. Thus, I can't remember if it can be used online. If it can, I've noticed that online, the coupons do apply to sale items. The system applies sale or coupon, whichever is better. Of course, you can't stack coupons online, so you'd have to choose between coupon price and shipping deal.

Please continue to write to JoAnn's customer service and complain about this issue with the coupons and everything with a sale tag. I've done it three or four times but maybe if everyone would do it they would see how annoyed we are. I don't have other options for fabric so I have to shop there.

Yes, I have used Joann's coupon at 35th ave in Phx. I had a 60 percent also and used It on some nice 90 inch wide muslin. I get discouraged also with their coupons. It is about 110 miles round trip from me and I get there and nice stuff you want may be $1.00 yd off. I am glad i got to use mine for Mother's Day. I did look at a ruler I wanted but changed my mind.

Hobby Lobby will let you use their coupons if you let the cutters know that you have one to use at cash-out. They move the price back to normal and then you check out and get the 40% off. I would ask clerks at Joann's to do the same.

To be honest, I have my doubts that it will work. 2 years ago, while visiting my MIL in Sacramento, I discovered that she is friends with the regional manager of Joann's corporate. When she found out I am a quilter, she asked if I shopped at Joann's a lot. I told her no, and explained why. I also told her that none of my quilty friends shop there for the same reason. I had hoped since she was mid-to-upper management that my comments would work their way up the chain, but nothing has changed.

Well I took nygal's advice, went straight to Michael's and bought a 5 pack of rotary blades for $14, didn't even stop at JoAnn's. From now on when I get a 50% or 60% coupon, I'm going to Hobby Lobby or Michael's.

I got a 60% off also. I bought a bolt of the muslin that I usually use for foundation piecing. The only other thing I could use the 40% off was on my diet coke. I canot complain too loud, the bolt was 79.99 and my total bill was 38.24.
