My friend has a long arm and it is her business. She does not have a life out of her basement. The only time she gets out is to deliver quilts and pick up more! As of right now she has over 60 quilts waiting to be quilted. She is very good and very reasonable. Her family has told her to raise her prices. I hope not! I keep telling her that for what the equipment costs I can have her quilt any that I do and I still will not spend that much. It takes time and practice to get good. She only does panto, not FMQ.
