I made a small quilt from a kit ($25) that I bought in Ohio when I was visiting a couple of years ago. Gave it away to a friend for her birthday (she's a teacher!). The pattern is foundation piecing, but was easy to do.

YEAH! I found it. An Apple a Day is the name of the pattern. It was originally a green apple quilt and I changed it to Red (as WA is known for it's red apples!). It is from We've Got the Notion Inc, in Powell OH 43065. No website shown on the pattern, but phone is 614-764-0792. Hope this is helpful.

And welcome to the best group of quilters! They are awesome!

I have a paper pieced one. Finished size is 9.5 x 24. You can make it horizontal or vertical.

let me know if you want it.

That is so cute. I love the apple core. Nice job.

I also have the question of whether it is to be the pattern or the fabric.

That wall hanging is adorable!!! :D:D:D

You might want to search for some apple fabric, then find coordinates. 9 patch, D9P would both be easy blocks to make :D:D:D

Debbie Mumm has a really cute one called "An Apple a Day". I found it on line for $4.50 but I know for a fact it is also in her book Quick Country Quilts. That book has a lot of really cute patterns in it and is available used for $3.60. Shipping would probably be another $3 so I would get the book. here is a link

Or is she wanting the black wire hangers shaped like an apple? You can hand towels or potholders on these.

JanieW, I have a GD who eats apples by the dozen. She just moved into her new apt. I'd love to make this wall hanging for her. I'm a PP nut. Bythe way, where's the apple with the worm?
