Just got home from work. Should be preparing dinner - Oh well there are always leftovers from last night. Just love to see what everyone is up to. I am still amazed at the technology of being able to "talk" to people from all over the world instantly. I love it. It has opened up a whole new world for me. What could be more enjoyable than sharing with people who have a common interest.

set yourself some limits. i set timers...i decide i'm going to spend 45 minutes on the computer, set a timer when it goes off i shut the computer down. when i'm sewing i set a timer, after 45 minutes of sewing it is time to get up and take a walk, get something to drink, stretch...or even move on to something else. then you can decide...later i will go back and spend another 45 minutes...
there are days when i spend lots more time here then i should, but some days i just dont feel like sewing or have trouble getting going on something. i still set the timer and make myself take breaks from it...
sometimes i think timers are my best friend!

Ditto! I have also put a timer on my computer desk to limit myself to 1 hour but forget to set the timer. Love this site and all the information I can use. It's worth the time. :-D

I absolutely agree. I thought quilting was my obsession. Now I've found this site, I'm not so sure. I may try the timer idea but I have a feeling it will be a bit like setting the alarm on the weekend - the intention is there!

I've heard you should always make sure you DRINK when you sew...
It causes you to HAVE TO GET UP !!!
