I have one that the electronics died but the motor works just fine. it's in my closet. Maybe we can work out a deal - PM if interested.

The Juki tech told me never to use a non Juki approved bobbin in a Juki machine as the wrong bobbin can potentially damage it. He gave me a package of the generic ones said they were fine. No holes in the bobbin rims.

I got it in march 2015 going to take it to the shop. no telling how long it has been in a strain. makes sad that this happened I only use the bobbins that come with it. been noticing that it has been a bit draggy I just quilted my little quilts withit last month. oh well I will see what the repair man says. really cannot afford another one

My motor died on my Juki. The only problem I had was when the repairman didn't want to replace the entire motor. He "worked" on the motor replace brushes and stuff. In the end, I purchased a motor online and had them install it. So be sure to ask for that option. I was never satisfied with the partially fixed motor.

you were so right, took juki took the shop. and repair man said sting in motor. so I really learned a good lesson , never leave your bobbin wind thread on the spool unless the end is secure. mine was just flying in the air but it got caught in the wheel and stopped that work horse fast well any way it is fixed happy sewing everyone

This happened to my Brother 1500. I looked up and the thread was unwinding as fast as I was sewing right onto the wheel. LOL I was able to unwind the thread very slowly and gently off the wheel. It took a long time but saved a trip to the shop. If I hadn't looked up when still sewing I never would have seen the thread unwinding. I never leave a spool of thread anywhere near the wheel now.
