I have Old Alley in Sherburn MN. Sharon, who owns it, has such a good eye for choosing fabrics that go together.

I also have Wooden Spool in Estherville IA.

Better late than never -- My area has the following and they are all special in their own way. Silver Thimble, My Favorite Quilt Shop, Kindred Spirits, Quilters Connection and Life's A Stitch. I am so lucky to have such a great selection so near at hand.

Quilter's Corner in Chadds Ford, PA. A wonderful shop with a large selection of fabrics! Always helpful - a fun place to shop.

I visit Mary Jo's every time I visit my daughter in Charleston. Go with a plan. It is fabulous. I winter in Ft. Lauderdale. No favorites here. But summer in Parker, CO has High Prairie Quilts. And Denver area has many good shops.

OOO Where in Morris Il is this shop if you remember please? It is only a road trip away and maybe I can talk Mom into going? I hope LOL...Maybe she will want to go to the fabric store in Leclaire and go on to Morris if it is worth it.
