Where was the class, and why did you have to phone the instructor? Did you arrange the class? Whoever organized this class should have phoned the instructor and all fees paid, returned on the spot!

Technically she is running a business (she rents herself out as an instructor) and that's no way to run a business think twice (and hard) on hiring her again. So unprofessional.

Here's my biggest pet peeve:

Between work, home and hobbies, my time is very valuable (and scarce). This goes with every appointment I make (try to make the "well" in advance). They insist on an appointment (oh ya, they will charge you if you miss) and I'm finding more and more do not honor the appointment time. I don't mind 5 - 10 mins late, but after that I start to steam. My time is just as valuable as their's. Do I get to charge them? Ya, not happening.

End of my "pet peeve" rant

The instructor scheduled the class and time so I just went when she scheduled it for . When I went the first time, she was late, never had anyone to cover the shop but her and the phone kept ringing, customer coming in so I never got much instruction . Then she could not understand why we never got anything done. Imagine that so I dont know if I want to go back. She never refunded me any money.

I definitely wouldn't take a class with her again!

Try $4.09

I think actually that I would be more disappointed than mad. Hope you'll enjoy the class when it finally does get off the ground.

Ok, you gave it a second chance, which was very generous of you considering your first experience. I would have led a revolt half way through the first class.

Since she's trying to do these classes herself, and had no one watching her shop during the first class, she's probably trying to keep her head above water by fulfilling the roll of shop keeper and teacher at the same time, but taking your money and giving you partial time and hit and miss instruction is a crime!!

I'd ask for my money back. I'd tell her I had the time for when the class was originally scheduled and I was there, unfortunately I'm unable to make your rescheduled class time so please refund my money. If she refuses and you end up taking the rescheduled class and you get the same partial time and hit and miss instruction, I would be noisy about it during the class and I bet others would be as well.

What a way to run a business. Hope you didn't have to pay in advance.
