You are such a great person to do this in memory of your mother-in-law. You will surely get an extra star in your crown.

A good deed is supposed to be its own reward, but there is nothing nicer than a good deed done from the heart, appreciated from the heart by the recipient. Bless you for your thoughtfulness.

You deserve every kind word for while we don't do these things for praise, it is absolutely marvelous when some one does love what we did and SAYS so. Happy Holidays.

    Thanks for the chuckles SouthPaw!

Wonderful story and nice your efforts were appreciated. I also love the fact that no top is really going ever stay a WIP. Someone somewhere will give more life to it and no one could make the choices you orginally made to it. I'm very glad a member of her family got to appreciate it. This story encapsulates one of the many reasons I quilt. The love and thoughts behind it are what warm my heart.

Finishing her quilts was so sweet of you and it is wonderful that your SIL appreciated it enough to write such a nice thank you. It warms my heart and reminds me why I love to make quilts for family and friends.
