"Quote What about an address book to with keep those addresses straight..Quote"..........this is a great idea, and be sure to add your address in there for your swap partner..... :-)

Default Oh, brother!

Man, talk about a "slap your forehead" moment. I realized that the swap I'm sending out is a secret one - so the person getting my package doesn't know I am sending it. So I can share a picture of one of the things in the package...

These are from http://quiltville.com/pdf/TurkeyLacerStilettos.pdf and are very easy. The worst thing was making sure the beads I chose at the store would fit on the lacer.

Thank you! I have been wanting to learn to make these, and I already have the beads.

i think it is too hot all around to send chocolate through the mail now. it is 100+ in my city now so i am sure the chocolate would start to melt on my way to mail a package. it would be such a waste to have chocolate soup. and who doesn't like fabric.

and neesie i just love that pic of your furbaby (avatar). it is the perfect attentive pic. hopefully you have that one blown up and hung on a wall somewhere.

what a great thread! I participate in the SP swap, so far that's the only one. I love getting notepaper to write notes for my SP, magnetic lists for groceries, books (used is great, nice to pass on after I've read them too), quilting notions of all flavors, quilting magazines, candy (I'm a sweet freak)...needles, measuring tapes (DH and Ray love to play with the last auto wind up one I got)

What I would love to get is a thread catcher, stiletto, quilting jewelery, pot holders.

The most special things I treasure and use all the time are a wonderful complicated wallet with lots of places for credit cards and bills and a lovely sassy bag that I can just throw a few things in when I don't want to haul my big bag. I also love reading about my SP so I keep and treasure the notes they send. I love local things and try to remember to include some for my sp.

I'm not a huge user of coasters, mug rugs, pin cushions, tho I've gotten some that were darling. And I am appreciative of those I've gotten in the past.

Chocolate soup = hot chocolate!

Thanks . . . and no, I don't have any huge pictures of Phoebe, displayed. My kids already think I'm crazy, for putting clothes on her, during the winter!

Welcome, Dawn!
Click the Home tab and then scroll down, until you see "Member Swaps and Round/Row Robins." There's a listing of the current swaps. If you've tuned-in too late, just watch for the next one, to come along. :-)

dawn that is the greatest thing about this board.... there are many who can answer your questions. so don't worry about asking too many questions, how else will you know?
