PBS no quilting shows
#23
There is either a sewing or quilting show on Create (Verizon channel 471, not sure what Cablevision equivalent is) at noon M-F, and it is rerun at 6 PM. The BYU channel (channel 290 Verizon) has Fons & Porter every day at 11 AM.

Pittsburgh, Pa. discontinued them at least 5 or 6 yrs. ago.
I kept calling and emailing but they said it wasn't of any value to the station. They actually got rude to one of my friends.
Anyhow, I discontinued my support for them. Most of the weekly shows during the day are childrens, weekends are cooking, woodworking, and 1 garden show...if they still have it. It's been a while since I have watched the channel because there isn't anything of interest any longer.

That is controlled by your local PBS station, whether or not you can have access to another PBS channel that is not within your viewing area.
I tried to make donations to the Alabama PBS so I could see Pullen and quilting, but I wasn't allowed access to it because Pittsburgh PBS doesn't allow access of others in our area. Stinks!!

You need to contact your local PBS station. The stations out here in CA are doing their fund raising that occurs about every 3 months. HOPE this helps !!! :)
