My sister just gave me a bunch of 5" squares that I am using right now. I need 3" so I am cutting off the pinked part. Somehow I do not trust the pinked edges.

I love your signature. I am a chocolate hound too.

It really doesn't matter, as long as you are consistent with which one you use.
    Good luck!

Really wish they would not pink edges, but guess it is a fraying issue. They make a mess too. Love all the precuts, but it's an issue with me.

I bought many a pre-cut to be used when I retired and was able to quilt. They sit in drawers. The measurements are all over the board. I will be using them, but after they are RE-cut. I was sorely disappointed but I have no idea where I got them.

Yes, I had two different packs and one was 5 inches valley to valley and other was 5inches point to point. Seems the industry does not have a standard.

The ones I've purchased are measured from point to point. Then there are the strips that are not straight. GRRR!

That has been my experience but you should do a test piece/block to determine how the jelly roll works with your presser foot.

I quit after a couple purchases of pre-cuts. I just buy yardage and pre-cut my own. I use the June Tailor Shape Cut with the grooves to cut what I need. I really like it for odd scraps to cut at once.

I have found that the Moda ones are the best as far as constancy . And here is my tip====run your lint roller over the jelly roll until all those nasty parts are gone. You will have to use several sheets. Then unroll it outside shaking the strips. This does not eliminate every single bit but helps considerably.
