I had a "solid along side a solid". I'm posting a before & after pic. Things like that bother me.

Are you doing the sew around method?
Most here are going to try this but it's not required.
What size would you like your blocks to finish up at?
Some are doing charm 5" blocks to end up with a 5 1/4" block.
Some are doing 8" to end up at 9.5.
Some are doing 10 to end up at 12.25"
Think about what you would like and we will help.

Thank you. Her samples looked fine but now I see what you mean.
Most pinwheels are made with a light and a darker and try to keep them in the same position on each block.
If you look at her blocks one has the light in one position and the other has the dark in that position.
Not really a mistake but not what she wanted.

I'm going to try and do this. I figured I'd need about 120 six inch pinwheels. And I'm going to use them like this

This Pinwheel project is just the thing for me. I already have a good start on mine. Just need to make it bigger as I want it for a summer quilt for our queen bed. If I join, perhaps I can have it done by summer of '12. :-) Here's my start...
