I would cut about 2 1/2, no bigger than 3.

Cutebuns, In the same length of fabric that I cut the 6 repeats from I have enouch for another 6 repeats. Will I cut the strips the opposite way that I cut the first 6??

you can, you could have cut double repeats to start with, if you can get them in a bit different location then you will have a better chance of not getting it to close to what you already have.

When sewing them together Sharon, leave the middle seam open and just pin them together,

ok so I will cut at the fold to get a single piece of fabric and then cut at the repeat 6 times. to get a stack of 6 reapeats?
