I say "yellow" which happens to be my favorite color next to blue. Why aren't there more yellow quilt fabrics?????

I have just painted my room in a colour called picket fence. Its a very soft white as I wanted to be able to see better at night but not have the glare..

Exactly what I did a few years ago. After a winter like this year I really love being in a bright yellow room.

I read somewhere that the color yellow is very therapuetic and that it enhances creativity.

I would think a neutral color would be good, but here's a little expanding on the post that suggested the small sample paints. Paint them on pieces of posterboard and put them up in your room so you can see the colors at different times of the day. they will change color/tint whatever. I like the idea of painting posterboard instead of right on the walls b/c you won't have to try and cover up all those swatches-you can take them down and toss. A color specialist told me about this and it works!

I used Butter Cream from Sherwin Williams. It looks real nice and relaxing.

I haven't moved into mine yet--just need to get stuff carried out to it (a separated building from my house) but I went with a very pale yellow. I would say it is butter colored. There are lots of window and I love the color when bright or when dark outside.

I just had mine painted Behr Renoir Bisque (DH did it for me - bless him!) and I love it. I can't really even describe to you the colour - you'll just have to go to Home Depot and check it out. BTW, be sure and use their Ultra (with primer included) - it covers in one coat.

I'm wondering should it be totally white(not my first choice), or a soft beige, or yellow or what? I know it needs to be easy on the eyes and pleasant at the same time. The room has two windows in it and hardwood floors. I would really appreciate your opinions!

Tin lizzie is a longarm quilting machine and frame setup. The throat space is 18" with 16" quilting room.

You know if beige makes you happy then so be it, use the colour of YOUR liking.

BTW: what is a "Tin Lizzie"?
