Super choices. So far I've been going for the quilted look and so a softer look, but it has to be practical as well. I've gotten so many great ideas from all of you on the board. I need to find a source that would like to have the caddies. My cancer center is a good place, but I'd also like to give them to soldiers rehabbing.

My handy husband!
Actually that's not a bad idea. And duct tape comes in colors!

Their is fabric that has waterproof material on the back if you are concerned about water bottles.

That is a good point. My BIL called yesterday. He received his two caddies and was so happy with them. I'm very pleased that he is going to use them, the one with the trains is his favorite. I'm working on the tutorial now and hope to have it posted by the end of the week. So many helpful suggestions from folks that I would like to incorporate into future caddies. You have been my strongest supporter and I sure do thank you for all the great ideas.

I started with a pattern in a book from House of White Birches, +5 +10 Fat Quarters, and then went totally off on my own. I would be happy to share what I did and what I would do differently when I make some more. Let me know and I'll try to put together a simple tute.
A Tute would be great. Did he give you ideas as to what kinds of pockets he and other guys needed? thanks
