I agree that quilting is WONDERFUL therapy. I have MS and have quite a bit of numbness in my hands and have developed more dexterity issues. Quilting helps me with keeping the dexerity of my hands even with the extreme numbness and spasticity issues. Plus - it is wonderful to be able to give your children/family/friends a quilt that you designed and made just for them. My neurologists know that quilt and considers it be great therapy for my hands and mind.

You're doing great. I've seen your block and it's really good. At least your doctor knows quilting is good. The best of luck to you in your recovery!

Good for you! My Mom had Alzheimer Disease and her quilting skills were the last things she finally lost. Not only is quilting a wonderful therapy, it also brings great beauty into our world as well as warmth and comfort. Keep on quilting!
