Just me. I wish I had some friends that quilted. Neither of my two sisters can even thread a needle.

I have that kind of family too. I have my mom,1 aunt,1 great-aunt,1 niece,1 nephew, and I am teaching my daughter. When we have company for dinner, it is really hard to remember not to talk about quilts. I have to remind myself that not everyone is a quilter.

My sister can't sew a straight line. But she is a fanstastic cook.
She can do stamped cross stitch but she gets bored too easy and picks up her recipe books. Ask your friends, maybe they know some quilters?Maybe even your sisters might be a little scared to try?Mine just plain don't want to.

Recently two new members joined our QB from my area and I have extended offers to both to get together. One has responded I'm so happy to have other quilters to share and learn from.

I don't quilt with family but I have quilting friends. This weekend we are having our own quilt retreat at Embassy Suites. Evening Happy Hour and morning breakfast. We cover the other meals and just sew, sew, socialize. Doesn't get much better then that. This time we have 4 rooms and 12 people. The bad part is I don't have anything major to work on. have a few small project that I will just do really slow.
