To to the fishing section of WalMart for plastic boxes with handles, they even snap together. Think I paid something around $3 for mine.

Also useful - the plastic bins that cat litter, cat food, and laundry soap come in. I've used them for waste baskets, food storage and transport, and fabric storage.

Years ago, I had some round plastic containers with tight fitting lids. I used one for a flour canister (larger than the rubbermaid ones), and the other to store my 2.5" squares in for making 9 patch blocks. I think it still has some in it.

As long as Wal-mart have it and very cheap, fair price, I'll buy it. i do my shopping, like fabric, notion, quilting supplies, some craft, ribbons and mostly Interfacing, cheaper than Joann fabric. thanks for sharing!
