our county fair doesnt reject anything. And believe me there are a few that should be rejected, like the ascue lumpy t-shirt quilt. The lady thought it was wonderful, why did she get a ribbon. I love the cake, you can make me one any time.

I entered a knitted sweater in a contest once. The colors where gray, white and deep purple. Judges said the colors weren't right should have used better colors. They were what I liked, but there again the judges probably didn't care for those colors for themselves. I still am wearing that sweater.

What???!!! It's GREAT! It is just one persons "opinion" that it didnt flow, ignore that! You did a wonderful job and I am sure your friend loved it.

What is the criteria to qualify as a quilting judge? If the quilt meets all the requirements for hanging, etc. I would resubmit it to the state fair. It sounds to me as if you ran up against Mrs Ignorance and her best friend Mrs Bigotry and they won. I'm so sorry. They come from a very large extended family.

I think it is beautiful and very artistic. What medium did you use? It it appliqué ? The label is very cute too.

The judges must of had blinders on, that is so creative
of you. to make such a nice quilt do not worry about them.
tell them to go to the sea and flow,I love it.
It is so very pretty.
