I just saw a YouTube by Darlene Michaud, who demonstrated making Crumb blocks. The way she put together 4 skinny pieces of fabric, that I would normally throw away, was phenomenal. She has a series of demonstrating crumb blocks and I started with Episode 5, because that is what I saw first. I was so intrigued that I went back and started with the first video. The way she puts together blocks is quite interesting. It is certainly a way that I never though of. Here is #5, the one I started with and then her first video of the series:

I just finished using my Daughter's and my scraps bet I made 80 or more in a couple of years. I start making 10" squares and went down to 2". Lots of triangles, lots of strips, mostly basket weave and piano key borders.
Our scraps were not as pretty as yours. I used my stash for backs, sashes, borders and bindings. I bought all the battings for them also.
They will be donated to foster kids in our area. Now I will start on more matchy, matchy quilts. I have lots of remnants of kid prints.

Hello, it is only a roughly measurement, I weighed 1 m of Kona Cotton fabric! If I suppose that other fabrics weigh less then there will be more than 15 m of scraps! And one question: what means "Museimer"?

Truly I never heard the expression "mühseim" or "musseimer" before, most be a slang word in a certain part of Germany - I only found "musseimer" when I googled it
But as I said, you're doing a great job in sorting all that stuff. I love scrappy quilts too, they're my favourite!!!

What pattern did you use for your little purses? How do they close? Snaps, Velcro, ???
I keep looking at your quilts and drooling. You really did a wonderful job on your quilts. When I do my scrap quilts, the colors do not look as organized as your quilts. My colors are all over the place, kind of like the way I think. I will bet you are a really organized person. A trait that is missing from my DNA. LOL

I, too, have a couple of storage tubs of scraps! Last week I just started sewing them together in a haphazard, wonky formation. No plan, no purpose. Now I’ve got about a yard or so of ‘fabric’. I think I’ll just continue on until it’s about 35x50, put a large solid border around it and make a baby or lap size quilt from it. It’s really been fun just mindless sewing!
