I woodcarve, watercolor, knit, cochet, bead and too many more. If the pictures come through there is two of my bird woodcarvings and a painting.

I love to read. I also like crocheting and cross stitching, but I have not done those since I began quilting. I just don't have enough time for all of my hobbies. Maybe one day.

My other interest besides quilting seem to come and go. I have done ceramics which lead to tole painting then pen and ink drawings and pierce and cut lampshade making. I've made most of my own clothing and some of my husbands and children's throughout the years. I collect English bone china tea cups (have about 190), bone china coffee mugs (have about 80), snow bunnies and snow babies, Hummels and of course quilt fabric. I do read most days for an hour or two. It has all kept me out of trouble and my mind creative and active

I have too many hobbies, but they are seasonal. Since I live in Maine I quilt in the winter months and enjoy outdoor activities in the summer. I recently took a floorcloth class and loved. I am now taking a photography class. I run, kayak, hike and garden in the short Maine summers.

Reading, photography, rubber stamps, drawing, painting, cross stitch, knitting, crocheting....oops - you said one word. Ahhh...."everything"? (Well - not critters!)
