my grandma taught me to knit crochet and tat (altho the latter i need to reteach myself)
i sew things besides quilts (clothing and reusuable grocery bags)

and i get out in the garden to get dirty and put up yummy home-grown fruits and veggies...
life is full and i am happy

I listen to audio books from the Library. Since I am no longer working I read more as I do not drive as much.
I just read "Heaven is for Real' written by Todd Burpo about his son Colton. There is also a book "Akiane" about a young girl who began painting at age four from 'visions from God' Both of these are excellent books.

I worked with a friend that tried and tried to teach me tatting and I am left and her right handed and I just could not get it. I can knit and crochet but can't catch on to tatting. Wish I could though it is so cute.
