It is truly a lovely quilt. Expecially nice that it will grow with her and not be to "baby".

What a lovely quilt. She will be so happy to get it. You've done very well. I agree the border is a busy print and won't even be noticeable unless you point it out.

It looks wonderful! I wouldn't obsess too much about the back. As a former apparel sewer, I have trouble using fabric off grain. You could use a black sashing strip where you have to piece it. Using a larger piece in the center with side panels of the same fabric separated by the sashing would look like a new design.
