I have a lot of fabric in my stash and I still buy more. If I see something I like and don't know what I will use it for I buy at least 1/2yd to 1yd. I only buy material from LQS because I like the quality of the fabric.

I have a lot. I keep telling myself not to buy more until I organize what I have. So far I haven't listened to myself.

I have between 800 and 1000 yards of fabric. I still have to buy fabric to go with what I have to make a quilt at times depending on what I am making. Sometimes I'll have the border fabric and need to buy the coordinating block fabrics and some times it's the other way around.

I did pull almost all the fat quarters I needed to make the Orion Star quilt plus the borders and binding fabrics from my stash. The Orion Star quilt takes 28 fat quarters and I used three colors, pink, yellow and orange. I think I needed to buy three orange fat quarters for the whole quilt. I am still in the cutting stage.

This is a pic of the fat quarters I initially pulled for the Orion Star quilt. I ended up changing some of the pinks for lighter pinks and I found a couple of oranges that fit into the color range better.
