Just like other retailers, the day after Thanksgiving you'll find some incredible deals. We bought my daughter's new Brother CS6000i (normally $150-$200) on Amazon for $99 and free shipping (Black Friday deal). The local sewing machine dealer also had great deals on floor models that day!

Many sewing machine companies come out with their now models in September. This is a good time to get a lightly used trade in or--the latest thing if that is what you want.
