Stick with it,Patrice!! I notice that many negative posts are from "members" that hardly ever contribute to the board!
Me, too! Where is it anyway?

I do wish people would also realize this board could have just disappeared...yep, gone, poof

But instead--time, effort and money went into an extreme makeover...it just didn't have it's own reality show to tout it and all the good things it will able to do.

This board is still free...wahoo about that. What ads...I don't see any ads...ooo I have selective vision and only see the parts I want to see.

If you are confused about where you are (like me) hit home and try try again. We didn't know how the old board worked when we first joined it so what's the big deal about learning how to use this one?

Change smange...I'm not a big fan of change but I fully realize it must happen for the good of everyone in all aspects of life. Did anyone die? Did anyone go broke? Did anyone lose any material possessions that were actually "theirs"? Did it affect world peace? No, I didn't think so.

Let's have some fun, quit our griping (me included such as this) and move along to continue our learning and sharing.

    Yipee...let's go have a blast!

One the first day of this new board I was so confused and frustrated. My first thought was I don't like it! I can be very stubborn. But I love this board so I decided to take it slowly and stop every now and then to see where I was and where I wanted to go. It's still a process for me and probably will be for some time to come. But I'm not going to give up. Patrice, you've had to take the brunt of a lot of frustrated quilters who don't like change; who might not have the latest high-tech computer and, well, just want to keep everything the way it has always been. You have done an exceptional job and I applaud you for taking it on. You can't take each person by the hand and guide them as though you were sitting right next to them. We are all learning and most of us want to keep learning. So just keep doing what you're doing. I say "Good Job". I'm here to stay.

Patrice...I would like to thank you and the new owners for the hard work you've all put in. Sure, there are some things that will need some work, but I can't imagine even beginning to undertake such a project!
After I saw what changes you were talking about I really understood why you didn't want me to do the Christmas noodle swap!!! Oh, my! Thank you for saying NO!!! LOL what a disaster that could've been!
We'll get used to the changes and learn even more of the advantages as time goes on. Thanks again!

Patrice and other moderators, Hang in there. Everyone will get used to it. If anyone has left, they will be back because of missing friendship. As far as changes, that is no problem for me. I used to work for Union Carbide and Workers Compensation where we always had computer program changes and I was constantly learning. My brain was and still is like a sponge soaking up everything new If I have a question, I know to ask. No one should leave, give the system a chance.

Thank you Patrice for all you have done and continue to do. I have always enjoyed the QB from the first day I found it. I will trudge thru in figuring out how to use it...because this is a fun and very informative site.
