I made a quilt for my niece and tied it, except instead of tying it, I did a whip stitch, then sewed a 1/4" pink satin ribbon and tied a bow with it, then tacked it down so it stayed a bow. It was a real pain but I loved how it turned out. It's been about 3 years now, so I don't know how it's held up over the years of use, but it was cute. I've never liked the look of tied quilts, but I admit it's a lot easier than quilting on a machine, although that is my preference - love the feathers!

wanabee's tie book
have lost out. Was waiting for wanabee's tie book. She was on vacation. Did I miss the name of that book? Was so excited, as were others. Please, what was that book? Jeanie215
