Love all your projects. Luvstoquilt, your lanterns are beautiful. I didn't do any sewing yesterday, but I did clean my oven and refrigerator while washing some flannel for pajama pants. Happy New Year everyone.

Both are beautiful, but the lantern quilt is really impressive! And that you recreated it from an antique makes it even more so.

I love this, jmoore! What a beautiful quilt it will be!

I didn't realize we would have a VQW on NYD... so I'm late to the party. I did finish this bag on New Year's eve:

Also, spent yesterday attacking the precut scraps. I put together 9 patches of 4" blocks for a quick quilt to donate. I hope to dig into those drawers of precut scraps and demolish them. They have been sitting for several years and it's time to make good with them.

Yesterday I worked on my BHMQ, I finished marking and pinning my steps 2 & step 3. Today i’m Going to iron and finish 2-3 steps on her mystery. I also plan to make an animal pillowcase. For my brother. I need to mail out a package to him.

Jmoore, you quilt top is lovely.

Reggielymom, I hope your finger heals quickly and you can get back to your quilting projects.

Rob, I hope your gallbladder doesn’t hurt to much and when you have your surgery it heals fast. I have a niece who is going through the same health issue. She’ Going through the process of let’s try pills or this or that before having surgery routine. Take care and don’t over do it.

No a lot done but progress is being made I did some beading, got the blocks all quilted and started on the border and sashing for the charity quilt. I am far from being as fast as some. But work at my own pace. All the pics are great and inspiring.
