I worked on the Merry Mayhem Mystery quilt all day. It is a QAYG and I have just the three borders left, but I'm done for today.

Wow, some very special pieces being shown. We had company that I wasn't expecting, but happy just the same. I have been pulling some chunks now to piece a backing ..... not liking it so decided to take a "break here"

Ouch Raggiemom...I hope your index finger is not serious.

Maryb119, I really like your bright and fun crib quilt...and Cam’s Gram, love your adorable whales. There have been a lot of wonderful projects posted.
Rob, I hope you do get the attention you need for your gallbladder, it surely sounds uncomfortable.

My DH bought himself a new Dodge Ram p/u yesterday so we took a ride up the coast for lunch so I didn’t get as much done as I had hoped...like Raggiemom says, there’s always tomorrow. I have the blocks sewn into rows and will try to assemble them tomorrow.

Maryb & luvs to quilt, I love your quilt tops!! The tractors are so cute & the lantern construction is very clever. Way to go on using stash for some great finishes.

So cute! My daughter loves penguins and I think she’d love a table runner of penguins.

Wow! So many of us got a lot done! What a beautiful bunch of great quilts are pictured here! Good job, y'all!

I just had some mundane stuff to do ... finishing the binding on 5 baby quilts, and I didn't get them all done. I finished only 4 of them. I got distracted in this horrible mess of stash. I laid out a baby quilt using a pile of assorted 6" blocks and came up 3 blocks short. A trip through several bins and boxes before I found some scraps that sort of match. I think it will work OK. I'll see how it looks tomorrow.

Wow! Everyone has done such beautiful work. Christine, I love your quilt and awesome quilt top Jmoore.

Rob, I hope you get the gallbladder taken care of. My mom had gall bladder problems for years before she finally had hers removed. She had some awful pain.

This has been a productive weekend for me. I had decided on a lap sized quilt & have all those pieces cut & sewn into 12” (finished) blocks. Now I’ve sewn 4 of 6 rows together & really like the looks. But-it looks really large for a lap quilt & I haven’t made one for my bed, so I’ve been revisiting my FQ stash & I may have enough to enlarge it. I only have a double bed (which can get crowded when all 3 cats decide to sleep with me) so I don’t have to make it queen-sized. I plan to do some calculations on exactly how many more blocks I’ll need for the size I want.
