Should be able to join, just finished one of the 8 memory quilts finished and binding ready for the rest. Did a late Christmas present a border table runner, first time using the 60 degree ruler. Unfortunately my machine is still getting a check-up, so it will be hand work on the GFG and cleaning my sewing room this weekend. Might get out the emergency machine and do a few pillow cases I have been putting off, these are for the grand boys. Will post pictures after lunch.

I love your whole cloth quilt quiltingshorttimer and I would love to know the name of the pattern you used. I am still plugging away on my hand quilted whole cloth quilt. My grandson's wedding is April 14 and I am under the gun to get this finished. I got a late start this morning because I stayed up late last night. I hope tomorrow is better but I will go to church in the morning so I will have to accomplish a lot during the afternoon and evening.

Wow, quiltingshortimer, for a short timer you're amazing! Actually for anytimer you're amazing. I would definitely like to see the finished product.

I'm not off to a good start. I'm having sleep problems again. Doctor seems to think since I'm not suicidal that its just holiday stuff. Holiday stuff? I didn't do anything over the holidays because I was exhausted because I couldn't sleep! Anyway, I took some sleep meds (I hate to do that) and got a bit of sleep. Maybe I'll get more done today.

I did get started on my little bags. I decided to quilt the flannel lining to the outside to make them a bit more sturdy. I'm hoping to finish one today. I quilted on my Bernina because I love the walking foot on the Bernina. Cost me a fortune (even on sale!) but it works really well. I'm going to serge the edges and sew it up on my cute little Featherweight. It will be the first project on my Featherweight. I"m really loving that machine. I just love the way it hums along.

Started out my day by taking a road trip to The Fabric Shack in Waynesville, OH! Picked up some purple ombré fabric for sashing for these blocks that I'm working on this afternoon....

quiltingshorttimer - Also looking forward to seeing your whole cloth. I particularly like the interaction between FMQ patterns on your piece. And good luck with your DH. MY DW got a new knee 2 yrs ago. She's doing great with the only issue being multiple flights of DOWN stairs, but easy does it helps.

I'm spending the weekend starting to build my diagonal rows on a Judy Niemeyer "Flowers for my Wedding Ring" for my younger daughter. She wanted the arcs in 7 different color batik runs to resemble a "Talavera" style of design.

Wedding is July 31st, so she knows at MOST the top may be done.

As my LA is trying to sell her rental machine, I will be adding borders and finishing backs to quilt Friday when I am off work. Then I will work on Boom blocks since I am not nearly as fast as Sewbizgirl.

Finally get to participate in a VQW! Yeah! Making place mats for grandson. Hate working with black, my old eyes just can't see so well anymore. 2 down, 2 to go. Am binding last 2 with the yellow instead of the black.
