Really nice. I love the colors together.

Just 3 more triangles to make for the Christmas tree skirt, then cut out the background and sew it all together.

Got the D9P all ready to sew together tomorrow. Going to try and convince my husband that it's time for a movie. :-)

The pattern is called City Blocks and I got it from the Summer 2006 edition of Quilts and More magazine. The designer was Deanna Harris.

Wow... many more pictures have been posted since I last checked in! I love it! The flannel YBR quilt reminds me of a game of Tetris (remember that?) and the quilting compliments it. The backing is absolutely perfect for that quilt.

Love your quilt too, Jeanne S. It's so modern and lively. Somehow it doesn't look all that easy!

Irishgal, love the little charms you are using in your quilt. I'm in the 2" squares swap, and also the 2.5" squares swaps, so I'm always on the lookout for patterns in which to use them.

kristakz, your tree skirt is going to be really pretty.

I'm off to bed... no more quilting tonight.

Ally I love your quilt layout, but mostly the fabrics you are using! The foxes and little birds are so sweet. Is it Riley Blake?

I love it too. It's actually Moda, Walk in the Woods. I bought a layer cake (I think??) a couple of years ago for a project for my nieces. It was the one thing I have sewn in many years-- a little Memory Game. I fussy cut all of the pieces and put some fusible in, made them into the game piece with pinked edges. I even made a matching pouch to hold them in. That was a fun project, and I've kept the rest tucked away carefully. Anyway, I had enough left over for the baby quilt. I used all of the pink up for that, but I have tons of other colors-- guess who's gonna get a new quilt!?! ME! I've never actually made a quilt for myself. Well, except for one, 15 years ago, but it was so awful I threw it away! LOL. Walk in the Woods doesn't really match my color scheme, but I don't care, I love the fabrics so much, I'm going to make it anyway.
