Beautiful horse Watson, and Leta you are a bit ahead of me on 4 patches but I hope to get mine done today.
I do have to spend some time in the kitchen as our family dinner is tomorrow, but turkey is roasting today, still need to make pumpkin pie and pecan cranberry dip for appetizers.

I' captivated by the flying gees square Raggiemom. Where can I get the pattern. For quite some time now I've had a quilt named Flying geese Run amuck or FG gone wild and that square might be a very good start.
Have been absent from the VQA because after my T. dinner I didn't manage to get my 94 year old guest home before she fell along the way and broke her hip. Left me extremely upset and rattled and I tried sewing my setting squares (backwards, unpick, backwards). Got a not so good night's sleep and tried again yesterday morning and repeated the nonsense. So today is a new day and back to the original HST quilt which has two rows reversed. I will unpick this morning and try again to get the now 3 large pieces connected together correctly and hopefully sandwiched before nightfall.

Have my Okey Dokey Owl and Friends baby quilt bound now and have started tracing out my next hand appliqué bear block... nice to see everyone's projects, even though it's not Thanksgiving weekend in Canada... I am always happy to quilt along with everyone.

It really looks luscious with her navy minky backing, huh? I tried minky once in a baby blanket, too much difficulty for me and my little DSM to manage much quilting. I'd gotten a light buttery yellow flannel to back mine with but you can see a ghost of it though the white on white dot of the X patches/sides, so still debating how I'll finish it.
I did get the Troll baby blanket trimmed and rainbow striped binding cut but then the OSU/Mich. game started so I'm taking football break. lol

I should finally be finished with a top from Craftsy's Kimberly Einmo "Chain of Stars" quilt, just have to sew the rows together and add a border. The colors didn't photograph very well - some of the HSTs are a gorgeous mulberry color that's in each of the other fabrics
