Just grab some scraps & you'll see it happen. It's hard to
imagine but happens nicely in your hands. I love to have
a wavy edge by using a scallop stitch.

Please let me know how this works for you.
Does that mean the seam line is the outer edge of the binding?

Never move the iron when pressing seams. Especially on narrow strips, such as small Bargello quilts.

I have been trying out different binding tips...I just installed the zipper foot...hope it works. I am practicing on a coffee table runner...used the scrap from my wall quilt. Glueing and ironing the quilt was awesome...ok off to go try that zipper foot for the binding.

I had not thought of using different colors & that is a
fantastic idea! That idea alone tells me you've done it right!

I'm noticing a new post on the board about applying the
binding by machine & I'm hot to learn that method!!!

I'll post a picture of some kind. Glad you're happy. Shirl

I just finished by using the zipper foot...looks ok, it was fast! not overjoyed about the corners I may hand stitch them so they look neater. Glad I am practicing on a table runner...and not a real quilt!
