If you want a great, take anywhere, tough quilt this is the fabric to use. Everyone needs a quilt like this so matter how ugly the fabric (although I like your fabric).

WOW! I just learned a lot from all of you. I guess I had an attitude about polyester because I have always been told to only use cotton, or if you are really talented you can use silks or maybe wool. I have one of my grandmother's quilts that she made in polyester. I was never crazy about this quilt because it did not seem to hold its shape well, but now that I see how this material can be used, I won't turn it down if I run across some.

They would make great covers for Pet beds. Our local humane society loves to get pet beds.

We're gifted with poly and we are making stuff bags for 0peration Chrismas child shoeboxes. They want pillow cases or bags in the shoeboxes. Be blessed with fabric and move it on.

Make quilts for animal shelters, the animals don't care if it's ugly or not

I've made braided throw rugs sewn with dental floss. They wash well and last forever.

It works for backing. The plaid would make great placemats or a great tree skirt

Not ugly, maybe not your taste,but.....If you love to piece and quilt think about making this into quilts and give to homeless in winter. you will not want to make into beautiful quilts but something to keep someone warm..??Just a thought. By the way a unappealling quilt to us made for warmth use to be called a ugly quilt.
